Photography is a part of Coi’s practice that appears when needed rather than by design. The camera often comes along while travelling, used to collect memories, references, and small details that might spark future ideas. The work leans toward the environments — bushland, cities, urban textures — along with animals and the occasional people who drift into the frame.
Subjects in these images aren’t posed or styled; they’re simply moving through their day, unaware they’ve become part of the composition. The focus isn’t on making anyone look polished, but on capturing a moment as it naturally unfolds.
This collection offers a quiet look at the places, scenes, and observations that influence Coi’s broader creative work.
